Folktales are stories about people. Portraits in words.
I have written several eulogies, but I prefer to tell these stories while people are still alive.
I like writing about people who leave a mark, people who make an impact, or make me think differently.
I write about those I feel fortunate to know; people with a special spark or interesting way of being. Those who live life on a different frequency.
The people who make me think make me want to write. And I write it like I feel it.
My stories are about people I admire, people who live their lives at a different frequency. Humans with oodles of humility and generosity are my favourite.
I want to show these individuals that their specialness does not go unnoticed. I want to show them how I, and perhaps the world, see them. I hope the stories are a gift to both the reader and the subject.
